Online Fascinators, Hats & Headwear

When it comes to buying a fascinator, hat or headpiece online shopping is absolutely 100% the way forward.

With the high street offering little choice in terms or colours and styles, you need to do your fascinator shopping online!

There are now a huge variety of fascinators, hats and headpieces as the trend in millinery is growing day by day! Each milliner brings their own unique style and talent to their pieces which means you’ve got the world at your feet when online shopping for fascinators and hats.

Confident buying? Talk to the milliner before ordering if your feeling nervous about ordering online. Ask as many questions as you can and perhaps make a list of your requirements before calling so that you can ask the correct questions whilst on the phone.

Take a look around at several designers and milliners before settling, get an idea of the type of style you most like and will feel more comfortable in.

Have the details of your outfit to hand, it’s a good idea to send photos of your outfit and accessorise, that way they can be matched and suggestions can be made to help bring you together your outfit with the perfect fascinator or hat.

The idea of your fascinator or hat is to finish off your outfit to perfection, bringing in all the colours and matching them to polish everything off and compliment your choice of accessories.

The price of fascinators and hats vary from milliner to milliner, in the case of milliners like Philip Treacy and Stephen Jones your paying a great deal of money for their expertise and for the prestige of wearing one of their personal piece but not all of us can afford that! (Unfortunately)

Other designers and milliners will vary again from one to another, this is generally based on their experience as a milliner. Be aware that making a fascinator, hat or headpiece is a very lengthy process with some of the larger fascinators and hats taking several days to make so be patient and give your designer the time to creat your fascinator or hat. I would recommend at least 2 weeks notice and this can be more during busy times like Ascot or the Melbourne Cup.

Try and purchase something you can wear again and at least then you feel you’ll get your money’s worth as they can be expensive to wear just once!

Fascinators and Hats are beautiful pieces of art, hand crafted for you so take care of your headpiece as each headpiece you buy is an investment and a fantastic talking point when showing off your wardrobe!
